PASTOR JAMES FLORES
Frontline Missions Founder/Director
After working on the piles of Ground Zero, shortly after the 9/11 disaster, The Lord planted the seed of uniting the Body of Christ on the Mission field in James’ heart. James and his wife Brenda would serve with their church locally in southern California and Mexico. But the call to keep going led James to serve in different disaster areas with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team and Samaritan’s Purse. In 2010 he traveled to Haiti to help serve after the deadly 7.0 earthquake. It was there that God would stir up his heart again. God showed James the beauty of Christian men and women, from different churches and ministries worldwide, serving as one.
After much prayer and remembering that the first-century church was able to turn the world upside down for Jesus, after uniting together and answering the call to “Go into all the world,” James and Brenda answered God’s call and founded Frontline Missions in 2011. The purpose of this ministry is to unite churches and Christians on the mission field. For the past nine years, Frontline Missions (FM) has had the honor of serving with many churches and ministries like Promise Child in the U.S. and worldwide; discipling, training, and equipping believers to fulfill God’s great commission. In 2020, after 24 years as a California State employee and 17 years of coaching Cross Country, Pastor James prayerfully decided to retire to serve the Lord and others full time. Instead of taking a salary from FM, he trusts God to provide for him and his family as he faithfully raises money for his support. Through your financial support, Pastor James will continue to serve on the mission field as he takes on the new challenges that God has given him. |
