Promise Child Haiti

We had been praying for years about bringing Promise Child to Haiti. When the January 2010 earthquake hit, we knew that the time had come to establish the program. When we discovered that Calvary Chapel Caneille offers a free school in the community for students from the local villages and a refugee camp, we knew right away that this was where Promise Child would be established in Haiti.

For many of the children that attend the school; paying for the necessary books, uniforms, and supplies was a struggle. Many of the children in this area do not have adequate food, and some of the children are malnourished.

By sponsoring these children at  $15 per month, with 100% of every dollar going directly to the school, these children not only have all that they need for school, but will also receive a nutritious meal every day at school. We are currently working on construction plans for a better school building so that the children can be better protected from the elements, grow in their education, and most importantly; be taught the Word of God in a safe atmosphere.
